Statistics reveals that India tops with respect to the WhatsApp Video calling usage of WhatsApp where the citizens spend nearly 50 million minutes in video calls per day on an average.
WhatsApp is a well demanded instant messaging app which is engaged in a rivalry with other counterparts like Hike, Google’s Allo and Viber in India. Previously the last November, WhatsApp rolled out the video calling capability for the users.
This video calling feature of WhatsApp has been launched to compete with best apps like of Microsoft’s Skype, Facetime of Apple and Google’s Duo.
Ever since the rollout, WhatsApp has encountered a gradual increase with respect to usage. Some aspects which contribute to this scenario are the dip in data prices and the free offers and data schemes provided by Reliance Jio which debuted and made its presence only a short time ago.
As per data shared by WhatsApp, India is the top country with respect to the time spent in video calling with over 50 million minutes used per day.
Analysis of statistics and measures provided by WhatsApp reveal that users use the Whatsapp’s video calling feature making over 55 million calls each day and they spend a figure of more than 340 million minutes to make the video calls
The number of monthly active users of Whatsapp is a figure revealed to be more than 200 million. And the instant messaging app features over a billion users worldwide.
The app has strived and toiled a lot with respect to making enterprises integrate and benefit by making the platform to be more associated with the users. WhatsApp also added that India will have a major role with respect to the app.
The instant messaging app owned by the social media giant Facebook has made it clear regarding the non-allowance of third party advertisements. Its tools permit the user base to be linked with enterprises like banks and airlines via its advanced platform.
