Dangerous goods are the goods or products which are the danger for human or nature. The product which is harmful to the human health is also in the category of dangerous goods. Dangerous goods are not only explosive goods it also includes toxic, chemicals etc. It is very high risk to transport dangerous goods through airlines, the rate of risk is very high when compared to other transports. Transporting dangerous goods through the air is very risky so the airline must be a professional and well experienced. The effects of some dangerous goods are very big, it may not affect only a few peoples it may affect the surroundings. It is the responsibility of the airlines to transport these dangerous goods safely. The airliners may have the separate equipment to transport the dangerous goods. The permission for transporting dangerous goods through the air will not get easily it surely permits to the expertise air charters.
Explosive Goods
Explosive goods are goods which quickly explode when it shake or burn. When it shake the pressure will increase and the chances of an explosion are very high. Some gas products being shake when traveling the pressure will variant and the chance for explosion will increase. We may be seen in many tankers that highly flammable goods, it is a warning to others and this means that the goods are flammable or explosive. When people seeing this type of vehicles they try to keep a distance with them because a crash can explode all things. The lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium, cesium, and francium are examples of explosive elements. Hydrogen, Butane, Methane, Ethylene are the best examples of flammable gas. The air charters have a separate facility to transport these type of explosive goods.
Oxidizing Liquids
Oxidizing liquids or solids are some materials which are highly inflammable and they increase the speed of fire. That means when a fire burns lightly with these liquids the fire will burn in high and we cannot control easily.The common oxidizing solids and liquids include some materials which help them to burn in high,they are, bromine, bromates, chromates, chlorates, chlorinated isocyanurates, hydroperoxides, ketone peroxides, dichromates, inorganic peroxides, hypochlorites, nitrates, nitrites, nitric acid, perchlorates, perborates, persulphates, peroxy acids, peroxides, permanganates, periodates, perchloric acid. The oxidizing liquids will react spontaneously we cannot predict may be when the temperature is high. This material should contain in a cool place because the explosion is very heavy. The air cargo department should have separate facilities to transport these type of goods. The price of transportation is very high because the risk is very high.
Harmful Materials
The harmful materials mean that the products which are used not properly. These goods have a specified use so the other users may affect the human very badly. For example, the toxic or infectious materials have their own separate uses, some peoples will use it without any knowledge. This may cause bad effect on humans. Toxic materials are poisons which may cause death or serious injury that surely harmful for the human. It is not a very risk to transport in air cargo but we cannot travel in an aircraft by handling these type of materials. It is dangerous goods but it is not highly flammable goods.
Corrosives
Corrosives are in the form of liquids and it is a highly reactive material that destroys the body tissues. The commonly corrosive substances are acids and bases. It is a chemical that really makes damage to our skin or our body tissues because if a human drink that his organs will come into ash. The corrosive materials are very powerful materials which can destroy metals also. This much powerful is the corrosive materials. The transportation of corrosive materials through the airline is not much risky as the gas transportation but the airlines should take an emergency facility and safely package for these type of material transportation. The main thing of transporting corrosives through the airline is to prevent the chances of leakage.
